I have worked as a computer salesperson, computer technician/helpdesk specialist, IT system administrator, and for several years owned my own computer repair company in Southern California. As a matter of fact, I still run my business but I’m in the process of restructuring the company to go in a different direction and that is to teach.

During the time I was actively engaged in doing my computer repair business, one of my services was to teach people how to use their computer from just basic PC usage to becoming PC power users. I also collaborated with other self-employed users doing web development using Joomla and just a bit of WordPress.

Presently, I work as a Senior Systems Engineer and I have obtained my VMware VCP5-DCV, VCP6-DCV, and VCP6.5-DCV certifications. My day-to-day responsibilities include managing a mid-size company with about one thousand plus servers in a VMware virtualized environment running various versions of Microsoft Windows and Linux OSs.
